FULL TEAM PRODUCTION

For larger productions, we offer a full professional film crew we can scale to meet any requirement. Having dedicated roles on set helps to spread the work load and can result in much greater efficiency on set – giving more time to the creative process

SMALL TEAM SHOOTING

Our favourite way to work – utilising one or two cameras and keeping a small footprint means we can work quickly and efficiently and provide two angles simultaneously, allowing for much greater flexibility in the editing process, or else work in dedicated camera operator and lighting technician roles

SINGLE SHOOTER

To work within some budgets we can also offer single shooters where the location or the shooting schedule allows

SONY FX6 WORKFLOW

Our cameras of choice are the Sony FX6 and Sony A7Siii, coupled with Sony G-Master lenses, but we also have a number of other bodies and plenty of other interesting lenses in-house, including fish-eye, vintage, macro and zoom lenses

We also have monitoring solutions for clients and we hold drone operator certification

WHO WE ARE

We are a small but tight team based in the North West

Dan Hyde

Dan has run Hyde Productions since 2019. Artistically and technically creative, he is the driving force behind the company and has a passion for telling stories through pictures and sound

Dan has previously worked professionally as an editor and content creator, as well as in the TV, AV and theatre industries so has a broad background of creative media experience to draw from

He is an avid musician

Dave Lawson

Dave has grown up on film sets and has a strong visual eye. Having worked as an art director for Apple, Amazon MGM, Netflix, Warner Brothers and Universal along side award winning directors and DOPs has allowed him to learn a lot of behind-the-scenes tricks and techniques that he brings to his own work

Dave enjoys the creative freedom of shooting music videos and making his own short films
