Hyde Productions is a two-person film unit built to remove drag, protect visual intent, and keep costs stable. Dan Hyde and Dave Lawson cover camera, lighting, direction, art direction, and post. No departmental sprawl. No handoff loss. Output stays consistent because the same two operators run every stage.

Dan’s background in theatre, television, and commercial work anchors the technical side. Dave’s art-department experience across large features and series drives spatial precision and controlled design. Combined, they replace the bulk of a conventional crew without sacrificing pace or quality. External specialists enter only when scale makes it functional.

All core gear—camera, lighting, grip, audio—is owned and maintained in-house. This removes rental overhead, secures continuity, and keeps production variables predictable.

The operating mode is intentional: small, exact, fast. Decisions stay in one loop. Images track cleanly from concept to delivery. Process improves through repetition, not headcount.

Result: disciplined visuals, controlled budgets, and a production flow without waste.
